Current Job Position Openings: Part time Firefighter / Paramedic.
Paramedic - The Village of Whitehouse is currently accepting applications for a part time Firefighter Paramedic. This position requires the candidate to posses a State of Ohio EMT-P certification, Level I Fire Fighter certification, BLS, ACLS, and PEPP certifications. The candidate must have 60 -160 hours of on-the-job training with a LCEMS Life Squad or equivalent EMS. background that is deemed appropriate by LCEMS. The candidate must be willing to complete LCEMS continuing education courses and be recertified every three years. A good working knowledge of physiology, CPR, pharmacology and prior paramedic experience is desirable. Any combination of education and experience, which meets the minimum requirements of this position, will be considered. The duties and responsibilities, which are set forth in this document, are described to meet the general requirements of the position and are not an all-inclusive list. Therefore additional duties may be assigned as needed.
