Village Administrator Position Open - The Village is seeking a qualified person as Village Administrator. The salary range is $55,000-$75,000 and is negotiable depending on qualifications. Degree in Public Administration or experience in related field is desired. Position is responsible for numerous services to include administration, economic/community development, zoning, water, sewer, streets and parks. Position will be appointed by the Mayor with approval of Council. Whitehouse is a charter community located in northwestern Ohio. Tree Pruning Seminar -  The Whitehouse and Waterville Tree Commissions will conduct a tree pruning seminar at Whitehouse Village Hall on March 13 at 10:00 am.  Craig Nilsson from Nilsson Landscaping will conduct the seminar which includes tree pruning instructions and tree care.
Power House Run & Walk  - The 4th Annual Power House Run and Walk will be held on Saturday, April 10, 2010 beginning at the Whitehouse Primary School.  Click here for a registration form and complete details.  The Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a Pasta Night the evening before the run from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the Pythian Castle.  Get Your Carbs On and help support a good cause!
Whitehouse Police offer New Program!  - The Whitehouse Village Police Department is pleased to announce the Take Me Home Program.  This program is designed to assist individuals who may have trouble communicating, such as young children, the elderly, individuals with Autism, Down Syndrome, developmental or cognitive disabilities.  Click here for complete information and registration forms.
Safety City - The Village of Whitehouse will host a Safety City Program for children starting kindergarten in the fall of 2010.  The program will be held June 21- 25, with a registration fee of $20.  Registration begins April 1.  Forms may be obtained at Village Hall or by clicking here.  
Lost and Found - Items that have been lost or found within the Village limits will be posted here.  If any of the items listed belong to you, please contact Village employees at 419-877-5383 to identify and claim.
1.  Keys.  A set of car keys on a BGSU lanyard were found on the sledding hill on January 12, 2010.  Call to describe.
2.  Ball glove.  A ball glove was found in the Village Park on or about June 1, 2009.

Fishing Allowed!  - The Village Council in conjunction with the Toledo Area Metroparks has opened the large quarry at the Blue Creek Conservation Area to allow public fishing and nature walks.  REMEMBER: At the current time fishing is allowed from the quarry edge only. NO BOATING OR SWIMMING IS ALLOWED State of Ohio fishing licenses ARE REQUIRED for anyone 16 years of age and older and can be obtained locally at the General Pro Hardware Store located in downtown Whitehouse (419-877-0461).
